The second week of the holidays, OMG can you believe it! The highlight of our holiday was always going to be Mega Creatures. We grabbed my mum and headed out to Hunter Valley Gardens today to see the gigantic beasts on display. Seriously, what would we do without the gardens? Between snow time, mega creatures, storybook gardens and the amazing Christmas lights, it is a venue my family absolutely adores. They do everything right. Kids can roam free, without parents stressing about impending dangers. You can bring a packed lunch or buy one. And seriously, how close is it to Newcastle? It took us 30 minutes to get there. It was honestly a fantastic day out!
