COUNCIL'S SET TO MAKE IT SAFER FOR OUR KIDS

Are you like me? Stressing out every time you've seen a child walking alone in the last couple of days? Most of the Mums I have spoken to since the beginning of the week have said they're no longer letting their kids walk alone anywhere. The Newcastle Herald has reported that they are going to try and create a safer environment for our children by improving the visibility at parks across the city. It's been reported that changes will be swiftly made to parks where “sight lines” can be improved to increase public safety. Bollards are to be installed at the Terrace Street entrance to Hudson Park and medium high vegetation will be ripped out and replaced with grass.
